Free download Video Codecs – Vista Codec Package

Free download Video Codecs – Vista Codec Package
Codec is a problem for most users at one time or another. This is because there is never an “out of the box ‘working solution that the average computer user can easily install and everything is working properly from the beginning.

There are several good codec package solutions out there, but none of them did everything I wanted. I was always needs a tweak, adjustment, or even a reinstallation just to the codecs I needed / wanted and most of the time, the file is still not well played.

I have never said that a media guru. My media experience prior to creating these packages was to doubleclick a file I downloaded and hope that it is played. The using of MSFN community, I decided to package up a minimum amount of codes that most computer users and share with the rest of the world.

The installer will automatically remove most other popular codec releases from your computer before installing this concise yet comprehensive package. No need for any changes or adjustments to enjoy media content immediately. Windows Media Player and Vista Media Center will instantly recognize all your files as playable.

Vista Codec Package does not include media software that will not associate filetypes. With this package installed, you will be a media player, limited only by the capacity of the players, the use of all movies and films. Streaming video is supported in various formats in all popular browsers.

Users of VCP have the opportunity to choose what is installed, and install it using the public redistributable. After installation you can choose to have parts removed without removing the entire package. You can also add the removed items at any time.

Windows 7 Beta eats your music

Several users have seen their MP3 files has been shortened by the beta release.

This is the small amount of data which lies at the beginning of the file, called the header, which contains metadata such as song name, artist, etc.

This should obviously not exceed 16 kilobytes, according Windows 7 Beta. Corruption of data is so if you edit the metadata in these files in Windows Media Player or Explorer.

The consequence is that you lose the first few seconds of the song, and the damage is irreversible, unfortunately.

Microsoft, however, are aware of the problem that has not appeared in previous versions of Windows 7, so I think they send out an urgent update?
