The future of the internet landscape is uncertain. As a booming and (relatively) new industry it, at times, can resemble the Wild West. From widely reported website hackings to lesser known but equally dubious IP hogging, the landscape is littered with pitfalls and potential danger. The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) has already announced version six of the internet protocol in order to provide a long-term solution to the issue, whereby once saturation on IPv4 is reached all new IPs that are sold will be on the new version.…
