Japanese Electronics giant Toshiba has announced to launch the world’s first laptop that is capable to display 3D content without the need of the 3D glasses, called the Qosmio F750 3D. The Qosmio F750 3D has a glasses-free 3D HD display which supports resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
According to Toshiba, the Qosmio F750 3D utilizes a special 3D screen for giving users the freedom to experience all the benefits of 3D entertainment, without the need of having to wear 3D glasses. The new device will be available at retailers next month (August) with the price tag of around £1,300.
The Qosmio F750 3D laptop comes with an Intel Sandy Bridge Core i7 CPU and a 2 GB Nvidia Geforce GT 540M GPU. It also offers 6 GB of RAM and a 640 GB of hard drive. The laptop can convert 2D content into 3D on-the-fly and can display both 2D and 3D contents simultaneously.
The Qosmio F750 3D laptop runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and has Harman Kardon stereo speakers. It also includes Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.
