CDMA Tab is a 7 inch capacitive touch screen from reliance communication with Android as Operating System (OS). Reliance has launched 3G tab last year and now this year it’s offering 4GB with the CDMA version. It weighs for just 397 grams.
In Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune the Tab was launched and Monday (12/3/12). Young Music director Anirudh Ravichander (Kolaveri Di famous) was there during the launch of the tab.
As addressing the press persons the Rakesh Singh, Hub Head in the wireless business said that the reliance communications is focusing much on these four cities because it would help to access the mobile market in the remaining areas with respective to the corresponding states.
The device can support till 32 GB storage. It has RAM of 512 MB and microSD provided along with it for facilitating external storage.
The cost of this CDMA tab is Rs. 12,999.
It has rear and front camera but it has only 2Mega Pixel of it.
4) Document supports:
It supports document like Microsoft excel, word, power point and PDF formats. The push emails are the main reason for supporting document.
a) CDMA Tab offers discount for about 40% and it also allows the post paid plans.
b) 50 paise for local and STD (intra and inter) calls and 50 paise for local and national SMS.
c) All those of the plans will come with of default voice tariff.
d) Post paid customer can have combo plan and they would have free data storage up to 2GB which is rental for Rs. 750 per month.
6) Other features:
It includes the facilities like voice calling, video recording, GPS, mobile TV.
The Indian market of reliance CDMA tab, has announced that they would reach to 8.3 lakh pieces in 2015 however this year they reached 1.6 lakh pieces.
