Canon has augmented its Cinema EOS camera range with the Canon EOS-1D C DSLR shooter, which can capture high definition video recording of up to 4096 x 2160p resolutions. The advanced recording capabilities of the Canon EOS-1D C DSLR camera make it suitable for imaging applications including motion pictures and television production.
The Canon EOS-1D C DSLR camera is fitted with an 18.1 megapixel full frame 24mm x 36mm Canon CMOS sensor. The device can shoot 4K videos in Motion JPEG format with a 4:2:2 sampling rate at 24 frames per second. It can also record video of 1920 x 1080p resolutions in frame rates between 24p to 60p.
The Canon EOS-1D C DSLR camera is compatible with the full range of Canon EF and EF Cinema Lenses to facilitate capturing still images. The new camera includes dual DIGIC 5+ image processors, which allows high speed continuous shooting up to 12 frames per second. The device will come loaded with software like EOS Utility and Picture Style Editor.
The Canon EOS-1D C DSLR camera will be available with estimated price tag of $15,000 (approx. Rs. 7,74,550) this year. But exact release date and price has not been revealed yet.
