Nokia India is prepared to hit stores of Indian market for launching a new much awaited model Nokia C6. Nokia C6 is to be launched in the month of September this year. Everyone wants to know the exact date of launching this Nokia handset. According to the Nokia, it will launch in the first week of September in India. This is the very good news for its users. This is happened first time that the world’s big company of mobile phone started a model for retail distribution.

This Nokia C6 phone is able to fulfill the need of social networking and email with affordable price. The head of Nokia India, Mr. Jasmeet Gandhi said, “Since PC and broadband penetration is low in India, it is important to build a retail distribution model to take services to the masses.” He also said, “This will be a platform which will have immense possibilities and the potential to transform the services business as we can tap our huge dealer network.”

Nokia C6 is Symbian S60 based mobile phone and is fully loaded with a number of exciting features. It comes with a large 3.2 inch touchscreen display and a slide out QWERTY keypad. It has a 5 Mega pixel camera with LED flash and autofocus. The phone also has front end camera for video calling. This handset supports several messenger services such as Google talk, Ovi chat, Yahoo messenger and Windows live messenger. It is powered by Symbian S60 5.0 Operating System. This Nokia C6 handset comes with 200 MB of internal memory and can be expended up to 16 GB. The phone supports CDMA, GSM and 3G networks.

The price of Nokia C6 is not declared officially yet but this is expected that it will be available in Indian market at a price range between Rs 12,000 to Rs. 14,000.
