Sony has updated its B160 Walkman with a new design and different color options named the Walkman B170. The Walkman B170 weighs in at just 28 grams, which is one of the lightest MP3 players in the Walkman series. The MP3 player will available in both 2GB and 4GB variants.

The Walkman B170 is embedded with matching LED lights that blinks along with the music. The new device also has the Bass Boost button and a belt clip for giving a pumping boost to the music offering an excellent audio experience.

The Walkman B170 will come in different colors including Blue, Black, Pink, Red and Gold and also have a clip for attaching to belt and clothing. The fully charged MP3 player offers a musical experience up to 18 hours, which is enough for those who wish for songs to be buzzing in their ears all day long.

The Walkman B170 from Sony can be connected directly to a PC or Mac via USB and does not need any file transfer software to add music, users can drag and drop files into the folder. The new MP3 player will hit stores from this Feb with the price tag of around £30.
