One of the most important astronomical events of the year will take place the next 21 out of season and Volvo wants its customers to see it with total safety.
Volvo of the United States has launched an eclipse viewer that is incorporated in the panoramic roof of the Volvo XC60, takes by name Panoramic Moonroof Eclipse Viewer. This panoramic viewfinder is the first of its kind and now people will be able to see the sun be covered by the moon for 2 minutes and 41 seconds (if they are in Illinois) safely.
It is made of ISO 12312-2 material and has a magnetized frame to attach to the XC60. Thanks to its design and size, each of the five passengers can enjoy the phenomenon without using additional displays or filters.

Volvo upgrades its design and engine to a new 4-cylinder turbocharged supercharger with power ratings ranging from 254 hp (T5) to 320 hp (T6) and 295 lb-ft of torque. More technologies and safety systems are added for each of the passengers. It is available in three versions with a starting price of 794,900 pesos.
