Tiger Woods reportedly heading to rehab

Tiger Woods reportedly heading to rehab

According to an arrest report, Woods was found May 29 asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes-Benz, which was stopped in a bicycle lane in the southbound lanes of Military Trail, just south of Indian Creek Parkway, when officers arrived shortly after 2 a.m.

If the reports are true, this won't be the first rehab stint for the 41-year-old - he also reportedly checked into a facility in Arizona in 2010 for an addiction to painkiller Vicodin and sedative Ambien, according to the New York Post's Page Six.

"Tiger visited the hospital with his children on June 2, then went alone two days later to complete paperwork and his assessment", an insider told Radar Online.

He was also treated for sex addiction following his split from Nordegren in 2009, when he hit headlines for having a series of affairs. The officer said that he asked Woods if he took any medication and his response was Xanax.

Woods has been in rehab twice before.

The 14-time major champion Tiger Woods had back surgery in April.

"I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved", he said in a statement.

Among the medications listed on the affidavit was Vicodin, an opioid pain medication. At one point, he told cops he thought he was in California.

Why he was so out of it: Xanax and Vicodin. The card is described as the highest level of player cards available to gamblers at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona. While the father of two denied that he had been taking illegal drugs, the police report states that he admitted to taking Xanax. Woods has been experiencing quite a downward spiral lately, and we hope that he will be able to sort things out.
