Sony put PlayStation VR front and centre of its E3 showcase

Sony put PlayStation VR front and centre of its E3 showcase

Decisive victor of dozens of VR Game of the Year awards, Superhot VR is a title reimagined and redesigned from the ground up for VR and hand tracking controllers.

There are a handful of changes to the game though, as would be expected when porting a game to VR. "Or at the very least wield and swing two PlayStation Move controllers", notes techradar.

The trailer for Star Child shows that the game is set in an alien world full of creatures, spaceships and giant robots.

We think so, but we'll update this section with confirmed news as soon as we receive it, so check back soon for the latest Skyrim VR release date news. The first-person shooter game Superhot VR will be launched this summer. The game made its debut on PC in February of past year before making its way to Xbox One a few months later.

Until Dawn developer Supermassive announced yet another new VR title: The Inpatient. Although the company did not talk much about the game, the title seems to be inspired by the popular Legend of Zelda franchise, notes Indian Express. When Sony initially filed the trademark earlier today, we speculated that a return to SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals may be on the cards, but it turns out that Bravo Team is a standalone PlayStation VR experience.

And there was more footage of God of War - a highly anticipated action game, first teased at Sony's E3 event in 2016. Sony's VR headset ($399) is also cheaper than Facebook's Oculus Rift ($599) and the HTC Desire Vive ($799).

With all of the skepticism surrounding VR at this year's E3, it was a bold move for Sony to reveal so many VR titles.
