Pueblo will dodge snow in latest storm

That organization is predicting snowfall of one to three inches per hour at times between today and Friday, with snow totals adding up to one to three feet on the Front Range.

Around Denver, up to few inches of snow will fall with the heaviest amounts toward the Foothills to the west and the Palmer Divide to the south. As expected, much of the snow that fell here at lower elevations melted shortly after hitting the ground. Denver had gotten less than an inch.

The Daily Camera reports that shelters in Boulder re-opened for Wednesday and Thursday nights only, as goopy wet snow blanketed the region.

An unseasonably late case of powder fever has gripped Colorado.

The high temperature on Thursday is expected to be around 40 degrees, the weather service says.

There is another chance for rain and thunderstorms on Sunday when the high temperature could reach 64 degrees.
