Oppo A77 with 16MP front camera and 4GB RAM launched

You can choose between the Rose Gold or Gold OPPO A77. Another 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture is provided on the front for selfies.

Talking about hardware, the Oppo A77 comes equipped with an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750T chipset that is clocked at 1.5GHz.

But OPPO is just warming up. Apart from all these, Oppo is also said to be working on R11 and R11 Plus smartphones. As of now, the Oppo A77 will only be available in Taiwan and it is already listed on the company's official website. From a purely visual standpoint, the new OPPO-made handset is virtually identical to its predecessor, boasting a traditional brick design with rounded edges and relatively large bezels, as well as a physical Home button with an integrated fingerprint scanner and a single-lens camera setup located in the top-left corner of its rear panel. The phone sports a 5.5-inch FHD display which is bigger and better than the 5.2-inch HD display flaunted by Oppo A57.

A77's processor is accompanied by a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that is expandable via microSD slot. Finally, all of the aforementioned hardware is powered by a 3,200mAh battery, while the device itself still ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, enhanced with OPPO's proprietary Color OS 3.0 software suite. It is a mid-budget smartphone priced at TWD 10,990 which is approximately Rs 23,500. Other connectivity options in the device include 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Global Positioning System. The Oppo A77 comes with various Selfie camera features, including Beauty 4.0, Portrait Mode, DSLR-like blur background effect.

Oppo launched the F3 smartphone in India last month.
