Man creates ruckus at Kapil Mishra's hunger strike, AAP denies link

Before being taken away by police, the man claimed he is of the AAP, but party leader Sanjay Singh, however, said they had received information that Ankit Bharadwaj "is an executive member of the BJYM". He was removed as Delhi water minister hours before he made his allegations public.

"Arvind Kejriwal must come forward and say that he is ready for investigation".

"You (Kejriwal) have said the party doesn't have money to fight elections".

On the other hand, Satyendra Jain, who is at the centre of the charges levelled by Mishra, said he would file a criminal defamation suit against the sacked minister.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh also said Bhardwaj's social media profile and posts showed that he was a BJP supporter.

A beleaguered AAP struggled with their leader's defence, blaming the BJP and the Centre for aiming to "politically annihilate" Kejriwal through Mishra. The former minister had submitted documents to the ACB to back his allegations that Kejriwal had delayed a probe into a Rs 400-crore tanker scam in the city, a PTI stated.

"I have registered three complaints", Mishra told The Times of India.

Earlier, Mishra had accused the BJP of shielding Dikshit and now he claims that AAP is also doing the same thing.

The Congress, which owes its political downfall largely to the anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare but steered mainly by Arvind Kejriwal, seemed delighted with the proceedings.

Talking to India TV, Mishra said, "He reached my throat but my supporters caught him. I will continue to sit on hunger strike till details of worldwide travel expenses of five AAP leaders are shared", he had said. Mr Jain is at the centre of Mr Mishra's many allegations of corruption against AAP and its chief Arvind Kejriwal.

Hitting out at Mishra over his allegations of corruption against Kejriwal, Singh claimed Mishra had himself written a letter to the ACB in September a year ago, saying that the anti-graft body was trying to implicate the chief minister in the water tanker scam under pressure even when his name was not mentioned in the evidence. Even the police has said the same.

Mishra had yesterday alleged getting threat calls and launched a hunger strike this morning, demanding that AAP leaders disclose the details of funding for their foreign tours.
