James Wan shares picture of Amber Heard in new 'Mera' costume

Amber Heard has made landfall in a pair of new photos from the set of Aquaman.

Wan captioned the photo with the description that it depicted Queen Mera "swept in from the sea". It's shooting in Australia now. She also shared a photo of herself reading Volume 1 of Aquaman from The New 52. The director added it was taken on Heard's first day on the set.

The highlight of the picture is the Aquaman logo that finds a place on her waist.

Before introducing Mera, Heard shared a picture from her dressing room, preparing to head to the filming location.

She was married to her The Rum Diary co-star Johnny Depp from 2014 until 2016. Heard tagged the Instagram share. Heroic Hollywood revealed that the Aquaman actress took a cheat day on her training on her birthday.

Amber celebrated with a Mera birthday cake!
