Camila Cabello Stuns In The Video For

Camila Cabello just released her debut solo single, "Crying In The Club", earlier today (May 19), but it turns out fans won't have to wait long to hear her entire album. The LP is anchored with her solo debut single, the smoldering "Crying in the Club", a slow-burning jam which samples the ah-ohs from Christina Aguilera's iconic debut single "Genie in a Bottle" (the lead-in to her 1999 eponymous first studio record).

Camila promised a "surprise" in the video when she teased it all over Twitter, and she wasn't bloody lying. "[It] is the story of my journey from darkness into light", she explained. For additional details on the highly anticipated release, head over to Complex. The wait for that is nearly over as the 20-year-old star will release "Crying in the Club" on Friday, May 19.

Soon, the beat changes to more of a club jam, while Cabello, appropriately hits the bar and color returns to the screen. "You think, that you'll die without him/You know, that's a lie that you tell yourself", she sings.

"But I feel like with any kind of writing process or with any kind of music-making process, you have to be in tune with your emotions in order to really write honestly", she continued.

She continued, "I pulled up the lyrics from the year before, and "I Have Questions" was written".

"It's probably not the ideal scenario, but I believe the appetite for both is high", says Erik Bradley, longtime MD for CBS Radio WBBM (B96) in Chicago, who also consults for Top 40 stations in Dallas and Detroit.

Camila will perform the song live for the first time on TV at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas later this month as well as another new song I Have Questions.
