ABC Officially Revives 'American Idol', But Who Will Host and Judge?

As far as what the revived "American Idol" will look like, details are still scant, though ABC promises the show will be "bigger, bolder and better-than-ever".

After 15 seasons on Fox, the juggernaut franchise is being resurrected by ABC.

"The report quoted Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment, who said in a statement: "'American Idol' is a pop culture staple that left the air too soon.

When American Idol came to an end past year, fans had a sneaking suspicion that it wasn't the last we would see of the hit show.

"Good Morning America" co-anchor Amy Robach was the one to share the news on Tuesday's show.
