Scene-stealing Leslie Uggams returning as Blind Al to "Deadpool 2"

Scene-stealing Leslie Uggams returning as Blind Al to

Ryan Reynolds will be back to once again interpret Marvel Fox's hyper borderline hero and we now know the names of the characters to which he will give the reply. As the sequel expands further into the world of the #XMen (well, the ones they can get rights to), at least Deadpool 2 is retaining some of its roots from the first film.

Deadpool was filled with delightfully foul-mouthed characters, but there can be no doubt that Leslie Uggams' Blind Al (who appears as the roommate of Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson in the film) was the most delightfully foul-mouthed character. Another character also returns, that of Morena Baccarin aka Vanessa and the actress recently teased her evolution in Deadpool 2. However, flying her fan-favorite flag high, the announcement should certainly be one of the most celebrated.

However, we maintain the one who really stole the show was Blind Al. Are you excited for Blind Al's return in the Deadpool sequel?

Played by Leslie Uggams - who by the way is quite the star, being a Tony award victor and a Golden Globe nominee with a singing and acting career that spans over 60 years - Blind Al is an elderly blind woman and Deadpool's roommate. No release date has been set, but it's expected for 2018.
