Bruins vs. Senators live stream, Game 4

In Game 2, the Bruins blew a 3-1 lead in the third period, but Ottawa rallied with two goals third-period goals and won in overtime.

Twenty seconds later, Derick Brassard added to the lead with a goal of his own and the Bruins found themselves down by two.

The Senators struck quickly with two goals in a span of 35 seconds in the first that left the probably left the Bruins wondering what it was going to take. A long shot from John-Michael Liles was tipped by Noel Acciari at 6:05, David Backes made Bobby Ryan look silly 42 second later and beat Anderson 5-hole, and David Pastrnak completed the comeback with a short-side power play goal moments after a Boston 2 man advantage had ended but before Kyle Turris could get back into the play.

NOTES: C David Krejci, who missed the first two games of the series with an upper-body injury, returned for Boston.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Zack Kassian scored midway through the third period, Cam Talbot made 23 saves in his second straight shutout and Edmonton beat San Jose in Game 3 of their first-round series. The Bruins, down 2-1 after three games, know they have to make Karlsson work a whole lot harder for everything he's getting.

Bruins fans rained sustained boos on the referees after Ryan's goal and threw items on the TD Garden ice in protest of the Nash's penalty, which give the Senators the one-man advantage. Boston needs to win here and as we have seen already in these playoffs teams playing for their playoff lives tend to show up big and I see that happening here for Boston.

Despite outshooting the Bruins 18-10 through 40 minutes, the two teams were tied 3-3 going into the third and, though it wasn't all Anderson's fault, he has to make a stop or two to give the Senators a chance, especially at this time of year.

"Obviously it's the playoffs and you want to get back out there as soon as you can".

Heading into game one, the team was down a slew of players.

Ottawa can secure a 3-1 series lead with a road win over Boston on Wednesday night.

It almost nullified what was a dominating start by the Senators, who kept the action on their side of the red line for most of the first period.

The Bruins were still missing defencemen Brandon Carlo, Torey Krug and Adam McQuaid from practice Tuesday. Game 4 is Tuesday night in San Jose.

The Oilers bounced back from an overtime loss in their first playoff game in 11 years to post consecutive shutouts and take a 2-1 series lead over the defending Western Conference champions. Acciari and Tommy Cross both played in their first National Hockey League playoff games, bringing the total to 11 Bruins that have made their postseason debuts in the series.

All three games so far have been decided in overtime.

Not only are there no changes to the active roster, the lines and pairings also looked the same at this morning's skate in Boston.
