Key Witness Testifies Against Aaron Hernandez About Night of Double Murders

The prosecution's star witness in the Aaron Hernandez double murder trial testified Monday that the former tight end shot and killed two men following an incident at a nightclub, and then fired a gun at him months later.

Alexander Bradley described the moments leading up to the deadly shooting at a Boston stoplight in July 2012 as the prosecution's star witness against Hernandez Monday.

Bradley has been in a CT jail and was brought to MA on Friday.

Hernandez is already serving life for a 2013 murder.

Bradley is now on the stand talking about the events prior to shooting and has said Hernandez was especially upset that one of the alleged victims spilled a drink on him.

"He told her to take it to clean it up and put the vehicle in a garage", Bradley said on the stand.

As police investigated the 2012 shooting, Bradley said Hernandez began showing signs of paranoia around iPhones and helicopters and "just assumed everyone was a detective".

In court Monday, he detailed the events that led up to the murders, ending with Hernandez firing into Abreu and Furtado's auto because, he said, Hernandez felt they had disrespected him earlier in a club.

Months later, in February 2013, Bradley said Hernandez bought him a one-way ticket to Florida to attend a Super Bowl party.

After the club, Bradley feel asleep in the auto when he woke up to Hernandez point a gun to his face. In addition to pleading not guilty to the double murder, Hernandez has also said he isn't guilty of witness intimidation. Hernandez told him to roll down the window, shouted at the men, and fired five shots.

The defense claims it was actually Bradley who did it. Bradley said Monday he didn't sell marijuana to anybody in MA at the time of the double murder.
